It's starting to flow again!!

I think I feel the mojo coming back!! I actually wanted to scrap and still feel the want after making a layout...LOL! I did this layout for a sketch challenge at both Studio Calico and Tallyscrapper - love when the sketches are similar - I can just knock them both out with one layout! Plus, there was a challenge to take a pic of yourself with your kids on mother's day and scrap it! Three challenges in one!! WooHoo!! I love this series of photos with the kids - they act silly cuz they know it will crack me up every time! I used my May Studio Calico kit to make this!

It's been a while......

I've been busy and I just haven't had the time to scrap, and quite frankly I just haven't felt the urge to scrap for the past few weeks. I finally started again while Sam was home this past week and used my May Studio Calico kit for the layouts above! We took some cool pics while dd was here and I used them! The layout of Sam has a pic that I took of her using her Instax polaroid type camera and the one of Rusty - my silly dog - I used my iphone and the hipstamatic app. TFL!

My new iphone app....

I got the coolest iphone app the other day. It's called hipstamatic and it let's me take the coolest pictures! I don't buy many apps - most of mine are free - but this one was worth the 1.99 splurge! The first picture I took was a total mistake - I was trying the app out that I had just literally downloaded - and I used it on my layout that used up the rest of my April Studio Calico kit! It was my sonic drink that I buy almost everyday! I made this layout for the Studio Calico sketch challenge this week. I made 12 layouts with this kit!! I just have some bits and pieces (a first for me cuz I usually have so much leftover!). TFL!

National Scrapbook Day layouts

I did several layouts for some National Scrapbook Day challenges at Studio Calico. I ended up doing 12 of the 19 challenges. I think I could have done them all if we hadn't lost power from the storms that came through all weekend! Oh well - I did get 4 layouts and one card done. And I did spend all day Saturday with Donna Downey learning some very creative art - she really really stretched my creative mind!! TFL!
