Graphic 45 - Steampunk Debutante

I don't make very many mini albums - but I had so much fun making this one with the new Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante line of scrappy goodness! The black envelope mini album was so unusual and the paper is just stunning! I used lots of Tim Holtz embellishments as well as 7 Gypsies and Graphic 45 pretties! TFL!

October Afternoon - Thrift Shop love!!!

When my lss boss gave me some October Afternoon to work with for some design team work I was ecstatic! I just love everything October Afternoon and I really love their Thrift Shop line! I've had a vintage dress pattern sitting on my desk forever - circa 1939!! - that I've been waiting to use and I thought it would look perfect on this layout! I wrapped strips of it up for the centers of the flowers and then I used a little strip that I had leftover as the bow attached to the top of the banner!

I think this is my favorite layout that I've done so far! It turned out just like I pictured it in my head - love when that happens because it just flies together and no agonizing about the design! :) Everything on this is from October Afternoon (accept for the vintage pattern pieces ;) and the pearl brads!) TFL!

One for a challenge at Inspired to Scrap!

I did this layout for a challenge that I issued over at Inspired to Scrap! We are have a weekend crop and everyone is invited! Stacey is giving away some awesome prizes!! Go check it out! For this layout I used the new Pink Paislee line "Parisian Anthology". The pp is white and you have to use inks (or paints or mists) to bring out the resist areas! I used some Ranger distess inks in old paper and wild honey really lightly for the background pp. It's another layout of my niece on her wedding day! TFL!
