I've been waiting for just the right scrapbook goodies to scrapbook this photo! It's one of the many photos I took right after my son got engaged in October of 2010. I did a little photoshopping to it to tone the colors down some. I love the angle of the shot and that you can see her ring on her hand that's resting on her leg!

Every week Studio Calico has a member inspiration challenge and this was my take on the challenge! Not only did I win the challenge for that week (and $5 credit at SC!) - this layout is now the member challenge for this week!! Go and take the challenge there so you can win a $5 to SC too!!

I used mostly products from my September Studio Calico kit to make this layout with a little stash too (the heart clip is Amy Tangerine for American Crafts and the letters are made by Pebbles and were in a previous SC kit). After first completing my layout it looked very white and "floaty", so I included several lines of machine stitching around the outside edge to frame everything in the middle. I used yellow, green and blue threads to match the papers.
