Gossamer Blue / Elle's Studio Blog Hop....

I can't even believe how lucky I am that I got to use February's Gossamer Blue scrapbook kits for this blog hop!! When we were asked if wanted to, my answer was "Heck yeah!!". Their kits are so so gorgeous and jam packed with so many goodies - and this month there are lots of Elle's Studio yumminess!! I got to work with the February Main Scrapbook Kit and the February Main Add-On kit .

The first thing I decided to make was a mini album using the journaling tags from the Love You More collection by Elle's Studio that were in the main kit. I don't do PL style albums, so I like to use my journaling cards in different ways, and a mini album is a cool way to use lots of them at once!! And it's perfect because they all coordinate so well and there's not a lot of cutting papers down for the pages of your album.

I used the cards as the base, and then I filled the pages with lots of the goodies from both the main and the add-on kits. It's one of my favorite minis that I've ever done!

I also made this layout using several of the cut files and the whole pack of wooden veneer pieces (my absolute favorite embellishment to use) that are in the main kit! For the "happy banner" cut file pieces, after cutting them, I edged the bottoms of them with gold glitter. I used one of latest photos of dh and me on this layout.

I just want to thank the ladies at Gossamer Blue so very much for allowing me to be a part of the blog hop!!
Here is a list of everyone that is taking part in the hop. Make sure to stop by all of them, and then comment on both the Elle's Studio blog and the Gossamer blue blog to be entered into the giveaway for some awesome prizes.
